British Championships
 The British Pipe Band Championships were this year held in Balymena, Northern Ireland.
Several branch bands made the trip over the water to compete, and once again done themselves and the branch proud.
Congratulations to Troon Blackrock, Kirkcudbright MacLellan and Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary who all managed to bring home silverware from the event.
Special congratulations to Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary drum corps under the leadership of David Sheridan who brought home the Best Drum Corps title in the Grade 2 event, against another 14 very good drum corps. |
